Software Architect with experience creating software architecture for products from scratch
What We Are Looking For
We're looking for someone who wants to join a small startup and make an innovative impact in how we build software. We're a small and mighty team that is looking for an architect who is ready to collaborate with us and learn on the job.
You have a background with solid software engineering experience and have created software architecture for products from scratch before and possibly oversaw the work engineers did following your design.
You are transparent about what you know and don't know, and if you aren't sure of something, you research and use other resources at your disposal to find an answer.
You are not afraid of failure and have experience working in a lean environment, where we're working with a lot of unknowns, and changing strategies as things become more clear.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with the CTO to provide as much clarity to the software design as we get ready for development and for the next few sprints ahead
- Answering detailed software questions from engineers before and during sprints
- Providing technical context to other members of the development team when needed
- Collaborating with technical consultants to verify that the software we are creating continues to be secure and compliant with healthcare certifications

Preferred Skills
- At least five years of software engineering experience
- At least two years of software architecture experience
- Experience building a software project from scratch

- Experience working in a startup or small software company

- Healthcare technology experience
