Senior Full Stack Engineer

What We Are Looking For
We're looking for someone who wants to join a small startup and make an innovative impact in how we build software. We're a small and mighty team that is looking for a senior engineer who is ready to collaborate with us and learn on the job.
You have a background with solid software engineering experience and have created full-stack software projects from scratch before and possibly collaborated with a team to get the project working.
You are transparent about what you know and don't know, and if you aren't sure of something, you research and use other resources at your disposal to find an answer.
You are not afraid of failure and have experience working in a lean environment, where we're working with a lot of unknowns, and changing strategies as things become more clear.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Working with the CTO and software architect to pick up technical tasks to work on during sprint planning
- Collaborating with the product designer, QA engineer and other team members to make sure development of a task is on track
- Bringing each task through the software development process
- Helping our team to shape team culture and being transparent about difficulties or issues with the development process or team.

Preferred Skills
- At least 5 years of full-stack engineering experience
- Experience building a full-stack project from scratch, preferably collaborating with others
- Experience with the following technologies: React, Node, Java, SQL, Docker
Nice to Have Skills
- Equal front and backend development skillset
- Experience working in a startup or small tech company
- Healthcare technology experience
- Experience with AWS
