Generalist Product Designer with preferred expertise in UI & UX
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for a generalist Product Designer with preferred expertise in UI & UX. Motion and illustration design experience is a plus. Design is core to our approach to solving healthcare problems.
Mean EHR usability is below the 9th percentile on the system usability scale. Physicians rated our prototype beyond the 90th percentile. We are looking for an efficient, autonomous, passionate designer to create engaging healthcare experiences and contribute to a thriving design culture.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing empathy for stakeholders in the healthcare ecosystem.
- Defining our design philosophy.
- Architecting and documenting the end-to-end user experiences within the platform, and identifying possible friction points.
- Rapidly produce concepts and prototypes, with varying degrees of fidelity, for all components of an electronic health record, practice management, revenue cycle management, and patient-facing applications.
- Proposing and conducting experiments to test the efficiency and usability of current and proposed designs.
- Becoming a design evangelist and champion.
- Joining ideation meetings to discuss potential ideas to change healthcare.
- Owning all things design at Wellow.
Requirements

- Stellar portfolio demonstrating an eye for stunning design!!!
- Ambition to change healthcare.
- Minimum 5 years experience in designing web and mobile experiences.
- (Preferred) Bachelor Degree in Human Computer Interactions, Visual Design, Media, or Art.
